I just ate lunch and now I'm jonesing for some pizza!  Not nice, as my granddaughter would say.

Fabulous pie, though.

I'm hoping to push more of these pies to birthday party guests this weekend. Fingers crossed.

Those look amazing. Your party guests are going to love 'em!

Oh, I have no doubt that if the pizzas come out this good on party day, they will be much loved.  I am knocking on wood that I don't have a sticky dough that may cause a mess on launch.  The best thing about the oven is I can drag a burning log on top of any such mess... :)

David, you and your friends are going to love your pizza oven.  Your dough will do just fine and you'll be standing at your work table by the oven asking, "What do you want on the next one?"   It will be a great place to gather for large or small parties.  On my most prolific evening of pizza-making, my oven turned out 32 pies.

Firstly - they look great!

Q1 - is there any philosophy behind the oblong shaping?

Q2 - Can you download one of those to my ID?

Unfortunately, due to bandwidth limitations I can't send full resution pizzas to your account. Photos will have to do.

The oblong shape is due to the 13 inch diameter peel and 14 inch wide oven. To get a big pie, it must be longer than it is wide.
