I used a very similar formula same with our breads here in Manila but made it up into a circular log (very similar to your swedish tea ring). You can add the garlic, ham, and cheese while mixing the dough. and topping a little bit more cheese and rosemary while baking it. What i also did is to cut the sides of the circular log with a pair of scissors, and twist the loose ends a bit. The taste is one of a kind really.
Bread Flour - 100%, Salt - 1.5%, Yeast - 1.5%, Water - 57%, Shortening - 6%... play with your fillings and toppings .... and that's it! Hope you enjoy it. =)
