want to share my WY starter - Monterey/Salinas/Santa /cruz CA

I would be happy to share my firm wild yeast sourdough starter if someody would like to play without the work of beginning one from scratch.   Especially since our area seems to have begun our cool coastal summer weather; it truly was warmer in February than the recent gray, cool days (I'm 10 minutes from the ocean), halfway between Monterey & Santa Cruz).

Began this one 1-1/2 years ago, but due to health issues didn't use it often Jan-March 2015.  Then I started rejuvinating it and now it's working fine.  Have baked 1-2x per week with a little yeast the past 3 weeks (and feed it 2-3 x per week).    Today I made my first batch of no-yeast added bread (a country loaf in oval loaves with roasted garlic and chunks of Parmesan.  It performed well, but is not very sour yet since it's coming back rom being ignored.  It's half wheat and/or rye and half UB bread flour.

Thanks to this web site for great recipes, feedback and shared experiences.  I've learned so much!
