Reasons to adore an internal thermometer

If you ever think your bread is ready when it is not, you need one. Here's some thoughts on why I fell in love with my thermometer. I did not include this one: I could not bake bread in a time travel episode because I would have to leave the thermometer back in the present. (Of course, that might change the course of history and start the whole time-travel-never-works-in-the-movies loop of arguments.)
