When you have greedy hungry kids...

... you end up like me , preheating the blooming oven at 1.14am to finish 2 loafs of Sourdough bread. pfff

MUM, I can not take NORMAL bread to work, it does not fill me up and it does not taste !

Yeah, compliment, but pressure too, to get some bread done for the little boy * 26 years of age and 6ft 3 * so that he not starves at work.

Nooo, I do not mind really, I love baking, just got the timing wrong this time.

But it's your pleasure. That's what Mums do. You've given them a taste for finer things.

He can cook and bake, just not so good with bread, for some reason you could build houses with them.

situations.  SD freezes great if the boule is cut in quarters.  Defrosts very fast,1-2 minutes,  in the microwave and no one will know the difference - even you or me:-)

Oh yes, they do freeze very well.

I just defrost them on the counter and they are as good as if they never been frozen.

I thought 2 loafs would last a bit BUT the more SD is in the kitchen, the more they eat. wahhhhh

26 years old -- put him to work and make him bake the bread!

I do not mind really as I love baking, it was just that my timing was off.

Baking bread must be difficult when I see how my kids produce bricks instead of bread lol.

They do try. lol

My son too adores my bread and I spoil him. All he needs to do is appreciate it and I am more than happy to make it. He does other things for me, no problem.

Yes, I am the same, as long as they apreciate what I do and not take me for granted that is all that matters.

All 4 of them help a lot around the house, so I do not mind bake cakes and cookies and bread for them:)

After all, that is what I love doing and I love to see my kids happy.

Saying kids , they are 26,22,20 and 16.

All at home right now, 2 just finished University last September, 1 still in University and one still in school.

I LOVE it that they are at home, I must be strange lol.
