Waffer iron with smooth plates and makes VERY thin waffles

Anyone know where I can buy a waffle iron that has smooth/flat plates and makes VERY thin waffles? I been looking for a month now and nothing!

Back in the 60's, my family used 1 side for waffles and 1 for grilled sandwiches. The flat side was not for wafflmaking,as far as I know. Like this one:

Very thin waffles sounds like a Krumkake. They usually have a pattern on the iron. Like this:

Then we can go Italian and there is the pizelle:

with one "F"

or wafers (plural)

wafer iron will get hits along with wafer valves

It is possible to just mix up white bleached flour and water and dip a medium hot bottom of a pan into the high hyration batter.  or make thin crepes normally using medium heat.
