Jim Lahey's Ciabatta

I just couldn't help myself. I really wanted to bake, so I decided to make some no-knead bread; something that would be doable during a school day, even if it meant using commercial yeast. I must say, I was quite happy with the results, and it made a delicious loaf to have for dinner.

A little Italian cured meat and some cheese and you are all set.  Well done and

Happy Baking

Thanks, dabrownman! The simplicity of the no-knead method is amazing; making the bread is as easy as making a poolish! My family had plenty of cheese with this bread for dinner, but, being vegan, I had it with some fresh tomato, some herbed olive oil, some garlic, and a heel on its own.  Simple, but so delicious!
