Pot-baked Spelt Loaf

My first time using spelt & my first pot bake.

Care to share any more details?  How much spelt vs. wheat flour?  Yeasted or sourdough?

I've just started playing with spelt but don't think I've baked anything that gorgeous with it yet.

It's my first time with spelt. It's a sourdough using my Rye & Wheat mix Barm. It's a 70% organic Spelt bread & 30% wheat. When I made my starter I used my barm mixed with 70% spelt & 30% Wheat flours. 

i baked it in my cast iron casserole pot.

spelt, sourdough and the right pot go so well together!  What a beautiful boule - just perfect on the outside.  Well Done.

You are so right dabrown. I will definitely be pot-baking again.
