Five Pound Loaf

Just for fun I decided to make the biggest boule loaf my oven could probably handle. I made a triple batch of Alton Brown's Very Basic Bread with whole wheat for the preferment and a bit of flax seed added, and created this with five pounds of dough. It made excellent panini sandwiches.

Nice. I saw you post this a couple of days ago in LJ and was admiring it there.

LJ?

Nice loaf! Didn't see anything that looked like LJ under Links. What site is Floydm referring to?

LJ = Live Journal

Verminiusrex posted this in the Live Journal Breadmaking Community. I didn't have a chance to put this in The Bread Feed before he posted it here too.

Live Journal readers can view The Fresh Loaf in LJ too.
