no yeast bread

hi everybody I just recently found out that I'm allergic to yeast both baker and brewer and it is the cause of a lot of my digestion issues.  I'm not allergic to wheat though anyways I love bread and am looking for a good bread recipe that I can use for sandwiches etc. Does anyone know of one? thanks

If you are able to use natural yeast, you can use either flour or fruit as your base to develop your natural yeast. The popular name is sourdough which just grows the yeasts naturally present on flour or fruit.

If you are not able to use natural yeast then your only alternative is a chemically leavened bread (baking powder/baking soda) like a true Irish Soda bread. A true Irish soda bread has no sugar or raisins and would work for sandwiches. More like a biscuit.

Flatbreads and wraps are another alternative to a raised loaf.

You might look into Salt Rising Bread.  You can search this site or use Google for more information.  I've made it once using corn meal to get the starter going.  It made a very nice loaf suitable for sandwiches.

I l.ke the brown better then the white.  Just look up Ballymaloe Irish soda bread or Rachel Allen.
