do i need to use stalled bread for french toast or just any bread that can swim in butter? I cant stop myself from thinking about french toast now

bread is good enough!  Panettone is the the best, challah and brioche come in a close second, and yours is a fine 3rd place in my book since there is no panettone, challah or brioche to be found anywhere around these parts - here nor there!
