Please help, Converting handmade to machine recipe

I have several recipes for Handmade Bread.  I would like to make them in my Bread Machine.  Is it possible to convert the recipe from Handmade to Machine Made?  Is there a conversion chart I must go by?

Thank you, GeorgeP63

Bread beckers

You could try contacting Breadbeckers (www.breadbeckers.com) for their small red cookbook or go to www.zojirushi.com for their cookbook. Breadbeckers website has a terrific whole wheat recipe for freshly milled flour. The zojirushi cookbook gives recipes using store bought flour that can be helpful as a guide to converting your own recipes (according to the book that came with my new machine). I have not tried converting anything as of yet.

I know this is an old thread

I know this is an old thread but I'd like to know if anyone has an answer.  There's at least one great handmade sandwich loaf I'd love to be able to convert to the bread machine.  Thanks!

bread machine breads converting

The recipes I use I convert all the time as long as you put them in this way

                                white bread

  1. 11/2 water (warm)
  2. 2 cups bread flour
  3. 2 cups APF
  4. 2 T sugar
  5. 11/2 t salt
  6. 1 packet yeast

the machine should be on what the machine manufactor suggests If you have any questions I will try to answer them for you

                        good luck
