Searching for Recipe for Tongan Coconut Bread

We had a young LDS missionary from Tonga visit us tonight. He is serving here in Arizona, far away from home, and was speaking fondly of a bread he and his mother would make. He said it had flour, yeast, oil, and water in it, and possible coconut water, and you would form an individual sized dough and bake it within a coconut shell in an oven. He couldn't remember the recipe, and, since it takes quite awhile for mail to get back and forth from his mother, I was wondering if anyone in this forum would have experience with this, or would have any sort of recipe we could try, so as to give him a taste of home in Phoenix.

Thank you so very much for any information you might be able to share!

Thank you so very much! This sounds like what he was describing. He still has a very strong Tongan accent, but his eyes just lit up when he spoke of this bread. I am going to print the recipe and share it with him tomorrow. Many, many thanks. This young man is so far from home and it will be nice to share a bit of his home with us!
