Assistent N24 Attachment Question
I was blessed to find a virtually new Assistent N24 at an indoor flea market. Are Assistent attachments universal or model specific?
Thank you!

Hi Robin,
What a fantastic find! They are rare enough that a discovery like that is amazing. From what I understand, attachments are universal and older ones will work with newer models, and vice-versa. You can verify by checking with Pleasant Hill Grain. They do not have the Assistents on their homepage, but if you do a search you will find the Assistent page. And of course they can help you over the phone. I asked them once if a new bowl would fit on an older DLX9000 (Assistent), and they told me it would, for example.
Oh Happy Day!
And to think I was *this close* to purchasing a Bosch... I find this gem!
Do you know the age of your new DLX? And do you mind sharing its cost?
It's a 2001, and I got it for a song... $150.00.
That's just amazing! Consider yourself very blessed, and enjoy every minute of mixing and kneading!
I almost felt bad about the price! The box is even in pristine condition. I don't think it's been used more than once or twice. No scratches, dings... I can't wait to get started!
I have an N24, bought in the UK in about 2001. I was recently in touch with the company in Sweden who manufacture it and they said that virtually all attachments available now will fit the N24.
I have had my Assistent for years and yes the accessories are all interchangeable from old to new. Not sure where you purchased but you can find these in Canada too. Just check www.assistent.ca for a list of retailers here.
