Oven Stone quick replacement

Gorgeous day here in the Maryland Catoctin Mountains,

Has anyone experienced using a heated black iron skillet (up-side down) in a pinch to bake bread on?  My stone finally gave up the ghost and my bread needs to be baked in the next hour.

a quick replaceable bread stone is quarry tile.  Get a case, 24 of 6 inch tiles from your local home improvement store, six fix perfectly on a oven rack.

Inexpensive, replaceable and durable.
