No-knead breads
Hi, I am a busy mother of 9 so I don't have very much time to bake my own bread. Until I found out about no-knead bread. Since then I have been baking bread almost every day! I am searching the internet for inspiration, changing traditional recipes into no-knead ones and pleasing my 8 boys (my daughter can't tolerate gluten).

Experimenting is such fun, isn't it? I bet with 8 boys you are baking daily. ;) Have you ever tried to get them interested in making bread? My 5 year old son likes todoing some of the mixing and kneading.
Yes, I certainly have! Especially one of them wanted to learn how to make the dough. It is also fun that it isn't that much work... And they like to choose their filling. I now usually roll out a handfull of dough, cut it in rectangulars, fill them with cheese/ham/any other filling they like, fold them (like a calzone) and bake them for their school lunches.
I'm not sure of you have been on the www.breadtopia site they have a lot of great no knead recipes. I also like Jim Lahey's recipes. Happy baking!

No, I hadn't found out about that site. Thank you very much! I like to read a lot about the no knead breads, although I gladly add some water or milk to my favorites to make them no-knead. So far it worked out very well!
This method seems to be more alive in the US than here in the Netherlands. I started up the theme on my own blog and on Facebook - maybe that will help...!
To those who are interested in reading Dutch :-) www.achterbergen.blogspot.com and on Facebook the page Niet-kneden brood
