This looks delicious and I would LOVE to try it....but can you give me a little more info about how to do it? I have never seen or heard of this bread! I LOVE IT!! Is it slightly sweet or a savory bread? I can't WAIT to hear more from you!

Thank you!

Hi Jannrn,

I didn't included instructions because the link to the video I posted would be more helpful than me trying to explain :) This is the link to the video again ------> http://youtu.be/JMlGH6Fdwzs

The video is Pho actually making her  Roti.......It's a savory bread and I served it with a Thai Green Curry and Rice for dinner. It's super easy to make, the dough isn't sticky and it's so easy to handle!

I actually found a recipe for a sweet version of this bread but I have haven't tried it yet  http://www.namthip.com/2010/06/roti.html

your roti with Thai Green Curry and Rice.  It looks like a lot of fun to make too.  Never seen them made that way before.  Thanks for the recipe and your post.  Now I know what we will make next with the Durum Attta :-)

Ian I'm so lucky both my husband and kids love Thai food, Thai and Indian food are the most requested foods in my house!

Dabrownman I hadn't seen this type of Roti before either! About 12 months ago a friend cooked it for us and I loved it, it's great for dipping into the sauce, the sauce gets into all the layer! I asked my friend for the recipe and he emailed me the video, it's super easy to make. Just make sure you don't cook the Roti on too high a heat or the inside wont be cooked, a slow to medium heat (I have gas) till it's crisp and golden.
