Apartment Living and Keeping a Starter
Hello All,
This site is amazing! I wish I had discovered it sooner, but better now than never. I'm newish to baking and I'm curious if anyone out there in the bread-osphere has experience creating and keeping a desum in an apartment space? Our place is pretty small. Any ideas or creative solutions are welcome and appreciated.
Best,
D

Sourdough starters take up very little space and require little attention, other than regular feedings. A good place to start is by reading through Debra Wink's three-part series: http://www.thefreshloaf.com/node/10856/ (part one)
If you are speaking of desem bread, you might be interested in this link: http://www.thefreshloaf.com/node/1986/desem-i-take-it-all-back
TFL's search bar is pretty useful if you need more info.
Welcome to TFL.
Thank you, LindyD! I will look up Debra Wink's series and the desem bread link you sent as well. Best wishes,
D
