Kenwood Major Classic, which speed

I have a Kenwood Major Classic Mixer that I love. However I do have a problem determining where the dial should be set for the different speeds recommended in the recipes for bread. Does anyone have one of these mixers and if so, what do you use?

For dough I only use settings around the "min". A little below for speed 1 (usually 2 minutes) and something between min and 1 for the higher speed (usually 4 minutes depending on dough quantity). The mark "1" on Kenwood seems too fast to me. I use the higher speeds for blender and mini-mixers.

(but before autolysis and kneading I prefer to mix the dough just with the K-hook)

Thank you very much, I use the K paddle for early mixing and then the hook. I have been keeping it around 1, and the bread seems OK. Thanks again
