Toastmaster 1771 stand mixer manual?
My wife, the "Thrift Store Hunter/Gatherer" found a brand new 'Toastmaster 1771' 300 Watt stand mixer for less than 15 bucks. There is (of course) no box or manual. While it has 'dough hooks' (a pair of heavy duty corkscrews) I would like to know if any of you have had experience with this mixer.
All online searches have proved fruitless- except for one person claiming it is a re-packaged Bosch mixer and fairly rugged. A search of Bosch's site showed one kitchen product: a very hoity-toity food processor, so I'm thinking that can't be right.
Any chances someone here might have the manual? Or some experience with this mixer?
TIA,
Mike

I posted the question on Fix Ya. If I get a response before another member gets back to you, I will post it.
Good luck. I know how frustrating this can be.

Thanks, Susan. ;)
Sorry to ruin your Sunday, Susan, but the link you provided showed me nothing!
The Search feature doesn't seem to work either...
(Or I could just be dim. That isn't a stretch)

Hi Mike,
I am afraid I wasn't clear enough. I posted a question to Fix Ya about how to obtain a manual for your Toastmaster and was waiting for a reply from them. That arrived today, but according to them they need more information in order to answer. Please use dlink.helpme.com and see if they can help. Since dlink.helpme.com did not become italicized, you must need to go to Fix Ya first then, the dlink.helpme.com. Good luck!

Oh, now I understand...and you might see why I need the manual!

The machine looks so much like a Bosch Compact I'd think you could substitute that manual. There are also several videos on YouTube with most of the information.
Bosch Compact? Not hardly.

Scroll down a little to Product Details for link to manual pdf.
That's it!
Thanks for the help.
