Maple Oatmeal Bread

I'm still learning the ropes - this was my attempt at the Maple Oatmeal Bread from Floydm. Overall I liked it but the dough was too wet for my taste - I had to add a 6th cup of flour just to get it to be workable. Next time I would stick with 5 cups of flour and cut the water back to 1.5 or 2.0 cups. Even after baking, the bread is more moist than usual, though that may be partly due to the oatmeal. I'm learning that the oatmeal really makes for a chewier loaf than normal. Thanks for posting the recipe!
