Hi from southwest Missouri
Hello from Springfield, MO! I've been loving the kitchen ever since my wife introduced me to bread baking years ago. Last year I purchased a Whisper Mill grain mill and after years of store bought bread flour I've found out that's not what bread is all about after all! We absolutely love the whole wheat breads that come out of our oven and now I've discoverd "The Fresh Loaf" and I think maybe the whole world of bread has come into view. I am currently shopping for a preowned & affordable dough mixer, since I've about ruined my wifes stand mixer and it's a very good one too. A Kenwood Major KM250 650W! Stronger than a KA but still not built for large batches of heavy bread dough. I'm still discovering The Fresh Loaf and look forward to learning from all you experienced bread bakers on here.
