Hello

I have been here about a week and have commented on a few things but thought I would finally introduce myself. I am new to baking having started about 2 months ago. I was just sitting around and thought "I want to try and make bread". I did and now I am totally and completely hooked. All I can think about is making bread, how to make it better etc etc etc. I am going to take the Culinary Baking and Pastry Certification Course at the Culinary Kitchen. I live in Long Beach California with my wife, two sons Tigger 16 and Wyatt 14, 3 dogs Haley, Ginger and Paris, one cat Shrek and a Dove with a broken wing we rescued aptly named Bird. I really enjoy reading all the topics and have already learned so much just from reading everyone's advice. I look forward to much much more. Happy Baking.

I bake bread.  Not cupcakes, nor muffins.  Everytime I open my oven to withdraw the finished loaves, I feel as though I have created some magical thing from the basic elements,  I feel like a magician every time,
