Finally got TBBA

Well my copy of the BBA finally arrived. What an awesome book. very well written and understandable. My only negative comment is the fact that the recipes are in ounces and not grams. That is totally wrong in my opinion. To go the extra effort of providing a weight and do it in the uber un acceptable ounces instead of grams. :-(

I wouldn't say uber unacceptable, at least its in a unit of weight measurement, not volume.

I've gone through the book with pencil writing down measurements in grams, more often than not I just do the conversion in my head now.

For me it's a sin. Although a forgivable one. It just amazes me that the USA hasn't converted to metric yet. One thing they have in common with Liberia and Myanmar. Only three countries in the world do not use metric system. I was going to right in my book but I jaut can't bring myself to do it. 

 

All choking aside about the ancient imperial system. The book is awesome. I bought it after joining this site and would pay 3X the $26 i paid for it. The recipes look awesome but it is the techniques i am after.
