 Good afternoon everyone

I made some scones using Ananda's formula  and geberously sharecxd it with a friedn.They loved the scones and ia asking if I could help them with wholed grain or whole meal scones that is a bit moist.That if what I get for sharing.

Can anyone please help? I make more breead than cake and pattiserie, this is a wonderful learning opportunity and hope someone may help with a recipe or formula.

Hi Albert,

You can use the same formula.   I would recommend you use 40% strong white flour and 60% wholemeal pastry flour...Doves Farm always used to do a lovely fine wholemeal pastry flour; try that.

You may need just a tad more hydration, but otherwise the formula stands

I will do so.I am not so sure what they mean by wholegrain. they are American, and profess to be into fine dining and food.

Let me make it as you suggested.
