Hi there,

I'm new to TFL and really excited to learn from so many more experienced bakers. I just started baking seriously (i.e., not using the boxed stuff and really going at it from scratch) and feel a little lost. I'm glad to have stumbled upon this community and can't wait build a foundation for my own baking advetures. 

Thanks for being here for people like me to pick your collective brain!

Oh boy, are you going to enjoy the good stuff!  There is nothing at all like pulling the bits out of your cupboards, bringing the loaf together with your own hands, and then sharing around a few pieces for "quality control" when it's barely cool enough to cut.  It's like a continuous, and quite tasty, science experiment. Welcome indeed.
