Thank,s for the recipe i had a look at it and read the reviews they all say that it has to much flour in the recipe.

Did you reduce the flour are did you use the amount that it said.

Thank,s for your help  i bought a bread maker out of Lidl and  i am not have much success with it i have followed the recipes to the letter and the bread  turns out very heavy and inside very solid. I will try this buttermilk bread recipe in it and if it does mot turn out right i will sell it on.

weigh everything ? Got the correct flour as well ?  When my wrist went out, I purchased a bread machine and the first two or so loaves turned out rather sad until I got the hang of it. Wrist fixed, but now and then I still use the machine for a quick loaf (or rather for less involvement).

Does your machine have different settings for different flours, ie. basic (white) wheat, etc. and different settings for different crusts as in light, medium and dark ? Also if your house is quite cold, the bread probably doesn't get much chance to rise properly.

Can you program the machine to perhaps let the dough rise longer ?  Maybe the manual has suggestions ? Don't give up yet :)

Best,

Anna
