Submitted by greems on January 13, 2012 - 3:07pm Making Bread in a Bosch MachineHi, I am a new member and unfortunately age does not agree with me trying to make bread by hand, so enter the Bosch Machine from my family along with a grain mill, both of which I love. By way of introduction, I am a grandma who has always loved to cook and especially bake. Have been married to the same man for just about 49 years, so one of usdefinitely deserves a meda! All I can say is that it's a good thing my only forte is being a great cook. I am looking for a good recipe for a multi-grain bread that can be made in a Bosch. I have tried several different types of bread with it and the only real success I have had is with their whole wheat bread recipe. Do any of you use a Bosch and if so, have you been able to successfully make any bread recipe with it. Sure would appreciate some advice or hints! Greems

Not sure why you've gotten no response, I'm pretty sure there are Bosch users here. Anyway, You might want to also try your question on the Mixer owners group at Yahoo Groups. The group is filled with great information from/for owners of Bosch and Electrolux mixers.

Hi,
Not sure why you are having difficulty with your mixer. I bought mine last year after stripping the gears in 2 Kitchenaides.
You can make any bread recipe using this mixer and it'sgreat for dense rye breads.
