Hi all,
Im new to the site and have been reading for a few days now. Lots of great information and ideas. I do have a question for those in the Raleigh, NC area. Does anyone know where i can get a sourdough starter, I have check only one place but no luck. I tried one in the past but got contaminated or something, I have one going now but was hoping to try some this weekend.

Depending on where they are in a cycle, you could get it in a few days or a few weeks, but it never took longer than a week or two for me.
As Doc mentioned, the King Arthur starter is an excellent starter also.
