No changes were made to the manuscript. You'll notice that the information on tools and ingredient purveyors haven't been updated since 1978. He was 85 in 2002, so that's understandable.
It's still one of my favorite books. Every recipe I've tried works well. He must have tested and tested the recipes, as I've yet to find one that fails.
