Hello from michigan
Hi everyone! I have tried to send a post twice and somehow got lost. Ilive in michigan and bake alot. I have a woodfired oven in my backyard that my husband and I built. Yeasterday I made some great pumpkin bagels. I currently bake bread for about 15 people so I think I am going to like this sight and maybe meet some new friends. Carlena

Greetings from Michigan's north woods, where the leaves are dancing off the trees and apple festivals abound.

Hi Lindy, Our leaves are beautiful here in Alma. Can I ask where you are up north? I love having Michigan as my home state wouldn't leave it for the world. Im off to put starter to rise, baking day in the morning, also have to whip up a chocolate b-day cake for a good friend turning 86!Carlena
And not far from the Straits of Mackinac. If you're in the area, the Charlevoix applefest is this weekend! Just bring warm clothing - going to be a bit blustery. A fine weekend to bake bread. :)
Greetings from Clare (hub of the Universe, around which all else revolves)
Hello, I was in your neck of the woods today. I love the amish discount grocery for supplies. Not to far away from Alma. hubby picked 2and 1/2 bushels of grapes yesterday .Time to try some interesting grape breads, or bread with homemade jelly. Any Ideas? carlena
