Hello everybody !

I'm new also !  Guess this is where I check in! I've never baked bread before and got inspired watching a youtube video of Jeff and Zoe doing HBin5.  Its been fun and quite an education! My guys have been very willing guinea pigs!  part of the reason for learning to bake bread is so they can have healthier bread and in my search for recipes and equipment I came across this website , LCFoodscorp.com In case anyone else is interested , this is where I found the silicon bread pans to make sub sandwich and hamburger buns. They also have hot dog bun pans too, and gluten free products.  Mine arrived yesterday and can't wait to try them with the soft wheat recipe in the book! happy baking everyone!!

Two posts in a row hawking the wares of  LCFoodscorp.com from an account less than 2 hours old.

I'd report it as spam, but then I'm using a new account myself.

Hi gardenbaker

If the other members were jumping to the wrong conclusion about you then .. welcome to TFL.  The place that provides answers to baking matters when you hadn't even realised there was a question to be asked :) !  You will find that we are generally a friendly bunch (except to suspected spammers).  Posting links to sites of interest isn't usually a problem.

No, posting links to other sites is not off-limits, but 98% of the people who post multiple links to other sites in their first few posts here aren't interested in participate in the community, they are just trying to drive up the search engine ranking of the said site.  Those users' accounts are quickly frozen and posts removed.

If you are indeed interested in baking, welcome.  Please share some photos and recipes of your breads with us.

Thanks for your reply and your understanding ,  My whole motivation for learning how to make bread is so I could make it  heathier then what is in the store, my main concern is the amount of sodium.  I stumbled upon that website quite by accident and thought it was such a good idea to make sub buns for my guys.  I found this site from the link on the HBin 5 site and was sure people would be interested also.  I baked for the first time yesterday using the soft whole wheat recipe,  and I think I'm happy with the results, at least my guys thought it was good.
