Hoabrt Mixer S-601

The Summer Camp I'm working at has a Hobart mixer S-601, really old, the regional office says it's been obsolete for about 40 years, it still works, but I don't know the routine maintenance I should perform- oil change and such...
So what kind of maintenance should I do and how?

thanks a lot, CJ.

I don't know the answer to your question, but I recently shopped for a part for such a machine.  I discovered that there are at least two sites that sell parts.  I'd get in touch with them about your maintenance question, as a start.

You might also be able to find a local baker with a similar machine.  They're usually friendly sorts, in my experience.

Have you tried: http://www.food-equipment.com/mixers.html

They genrally have manuals and parts for obsolete Hobart's.

Basically, all you should have to do is lube it occasionally.
