I want to upload and post some photos - I have read posts that talk about clicking on the "tree"
My challenge is that I don't see any sort of menu (no bold, italic etc) - all I see is text
Using Firefox, rich text enabled
Any suggestions please?? the FAQs etc don't help., as I can't see what they suggest I choose!

Select
Select "Enable rich-text" underneath the Comment Box. This should bring up the menu bar to which you referred. Then you should be able to the "tree" image, which is the 5th image to the right. Also if you hold your cursor over that image it will say "Insert/edit image."

I usually use Chrome but I'm testing it in Firefox 4 and it is showing up fine. What version are you using on what platform?

I don't see a link with "enable rich text" - I see a link saying "disable rich text"! I thought I'd try it and clicked, but the link says "javascript: void(0)" which suggests it is something to do with my browser settings...

It should work fine in Firefox 3, though I'll admin I haven't tried it yet.
Yes, it sounds like the javascript didn't load. I'm not sure why. You could try just refreshing the page a few time and see if it comes up.

Thank you so very very much for this - I tried refreshing and restarting Firefox, then clicked on Disable enhanced, and it did! Enable meant I could add the photos, and they are in. Very much appreciated!

I use Thunderbird last version. My javas are up dated. and I don't have any menu appearing nor not able or disable reach text under my comment box. It's like this for months now and I was wondering why as no one was asking ...
I still don't know what to do in my case.
