Now, I have to get me some
Now, I have to get me some zatar, Louie. Mhhmm, that looks good! What are those three fruit behind the plate in the picture? Never seen anything like that before.

Pomegranates
Those are dried pomegranates, Syd. Pomegranates are a positive symbol in many cultures all over the world. In addition to those, my wife has a small collection of pomegranates in ceramic and glass from Israel.
Looks wonderful!
This looks terrific. Lynnebiz and I are working on a post on a food excursion we just took in Watertown Mass. One of the things I brought home was some Armenian flat bread which was just called zaatar bread, and some greek yogurt. And I did eat them together. Yum. Great combo.
Thanks, Varda
Flatbreads are a nice change from my usual baking. I'm really enjoying the zatar. I have a nice big bag of the blend, but it seems to be going fast.
