Submitted by cpanza on March 23, 2011 - 10:03am BBA Challenge: Week 11 - Cranberry-Walnut BreadWell, it's Week 11 of the BBA Challenge. It smells good, though! Luckily, my wife is a fan of cranberries and walnuts, so she was ready to attack this loaf as it emerged from the oven like a ravenous animal perched above its prey, just waiting to pounce on its unsuspecting soon-to-be lunch. If you remember my cornbread disaster story from last week, this is all to the good. After that skillet-debacle, the more she is kept happy, the better and more balanced the universe seems to be. Hi Cipanza,
I hear you.......During that Summer [09] I was kind dreading making sweet dough back to back [I think we had 4 weeks in a row?]. Back then, I didn't appreciate how gorgeous this bread is.
Ours had dried cherries and walnuts, braided using a single rope of dough... so worthy of a celebration!
Thanks for sharing, A.
