I'm looking to start a bread club in Tacoma Washington, I don't know anyone who bakes bread around here, but I know from going to my library there are plenty of interested people out there. Please feel free to contact me if there is any interest.

We started a bread group in Chicago earlier this year, and it has been wonderful to find other bread bakers in our area. We had two successful events last month, and just put another two on the schedule for March.
When you have your website up and running, please send it to us--and we will link to it from our pages.

Are you still trying to start a bread club? I live in Olympia and have a wood fired oven and am an experienced baker. What did you have in mind? Have others expressed interest?

Hey there Pat-
It is incredibly awesome that you have a wood fired oven, I would love the opportunity to see it work. I am still going to start a bread club. Nobody has shown interest, although I haven't put anything tangible together yet. I really thought about including Olympia in the idea but I think its too far too travel for people. Maybe we could put our heads together and start two separate clubs at the same time? I got some pretty good ideas from the fellas that responded to my february post, I just need to get on the ball and put it together. It would be great if you could email me.

Hi Russel,
I might be able to manage a monthly or quarterly meeting. I'm within 30 minutes of Tacoma. I am into sourdough loaves, but would like to expand into cinnamon rolls, bagels, croissants, and source some Washington State grown (soft & hard) wheat for home grinding.

I am also in Olympia, and would be very interested in a bread club. I love baking just about anything, but bread is my absolute favorite. I am not sure if my abilities will be up to par with anyone else involved, but I am certainly willing to learn. So please keep me posted as well. Thanks. Heather
