Has anyone ever sent..
a loaf of bread? I live a long way from my family..but I would love to send them some homemade love. My Aunt, who is 78, keeps mentioning how she would love to try my sourdough. How would I package it? Is it cost prohibitive?

I've sent bread to my in-laws in Texas from Oregon. It is not inexpensive.
Because I was sending crusty rustic bread, I wrapped it in a couple layers of paper bags. It got there fine.
Easy to figure the costs, just put in the zip codes and 2 or 3 pounds or whatever you think it will weigh. gt
