36 HR Baguette Take 2

Good Morning - what have we learned so far?  NOT to complete the first step BEFORE having your first cup of tea.  This morning, I mixed the starter, flour and water together... went back to read the directions, realized my mistake, cussed, added the salt and stuck it all in the fridge.  Sigh.  We will see what I have when I get home.

Aahh, forgeting the salt, I've done that before and I didnt even realize I had forgotten it until I tasted the bread... which really didnt taste like much. ever since then I've remembered the salt.

@sebash - I did not forget the salt, I just "rearranged" the steps :)


I worked way too late last night to perform the S&F steps, so I did so this morning.  There was minimal rising/expansion.  I will continue to S&F this morning, then let her rest overnight and bake tomorrow.
