today is chinese new year~~~ happy new year!!!

I made the walnut bread in the book of my bread! It's a holiday bread but very simple~~

it's better than my last rye bread. I think it attributes to the longer baking time and fermentation in a warmer room.

Beautiful loaf!  I've tried it before.  The crust didn't come out as thick as I wanted. 

I eat bread every day sometimes three meals a day, so I decided to take a little break from bread tonight.  I ended up with pork belly as my dinner but still baked a lemon tarte.
