Pita bread, Lepard's recipe


Made them in my small electric oven, a painstaking process, but worth it!   Loved this recipe

 

I realize that most people prefer to bake the pita until they are just cooked through, but we like ours with a little color. Also, it was very

hard to bake them in my Breville, I had to adjust the racks, start in the center, move to the lower level, and due to the heating element being so close to the top of the bread, it would be impossible not to brown them a little.
