that is certainly your prerogative.  But why not be up-front about your role in the business?  It would be a basic courtesy to extend to the other members of this community where you have also been a member for nearly two years.  Other TFL members manage to balance their dual roles as business owners and TFL members.

While I would like to congratulate you on the publication of your book, I would like to also mention that advertising it as "the first book to cover every essential aspect..." is somewhat misleading. I respect your enthusiasm for wanting to guide folks in their new venture, but Quincella C. Geiger's book "Bringing Home the Baking" was published in 2007. Then in 2009, my book "Start and Run a Home-Based Food Business" was published. As the name of my book implies, it covers everything folks need to start and run a home-based food business. It was the first comprehensive book for this type of home business since it is for not only baking, but also for those people who make jams, candy, dry mixes, prepared foods, etc.


Denay, I look forward to seeing you here again, we do have a lot in common, mostly our love of baking and the interest in sharing our knowledge.
