What a great resource--thank you Floyd.
I'm an avid sourdough baker and pizza maker (off and on for 10 years or so), and also like to make sweet and savory pies, croissants, and cakes (mostly because my daughter loves them--I could take them or leave them). I work from home, so I bake 3-4 days/week, for my family, for the freezer, and for barter with some small-scale farmers.
I knew I had a problem when I brought bread to a pot luck recently and people asked me about how to make it. It was then that I realized I could no longer easily communicate with people becasue I had gone so far over into bread geekdom. My people, at last I have found you!
