Baker's Percentage Conversion Calculator

Hi,

I'm a newbie who's created an OpenOffice/MSExcel speadsheet for calculating Baker's Percentages.

It calculates ingredients based on the weight of the finished bread desired and displays them in lbs, oz, gms, cups, tblsps, and tsps.

If you'd like to try it, use it, critique it, whatever send me a message.

Hi Jack

I have obtained the percentages for a baked product but am having problems, of course, converting it to lbs and oz. So if its applicable I think I may be interested in trying your spreadsheet. Are you charging for it?

Please let me know, look forward tot heariing froml you.

No charge Chrissie,

I did it more to gain an understanding of Bread Percentages than anything else.

I've found in life, the best way to learn is to Do.

I replied to the floydm email with the attachments, duh.

If you don't get them please message me here with your email address and I'll send them again.

Hi Jack!

Thank you for your reply.

I make gluten free breads etc. and I am trying to perfect a Malt Loaf but of course malt contains gluten so I have to substitute ingredients... well, actually most of them! I have acquired the original ingredients for the Soreen Malt Loaf and it is in percentages, so thats where I have come unstuck! Anyway I hope your little piece of program can sort it out for me and in reciprocation, Ill post the recipe if I can make sense of it (meaning Im not a computer whiz) and it all works out ;-)

My email address is: csheldon54@btinternet.com

Many thanks in advance...
