Just thought that I would let you all know that at Thermo Works, the Thermapen is on sale at $89 and free shipping. I have been wanting one for a long time, but did not want to pay $95-$100 and a shipping fee, making it well over $100. I am excited about getting my new toy.

It's a great tool, Duane, and you'll use it on just more than bread.
Not sure if you ever checked Amazon, but anything carried by Amazon.com with a price tag over $25 is always shipped free.
I've had mine for over 6 years now and it it's fantastic. Just checked Amazon and found that it's currently unavailable. What a shame! It's well worth what you're getting it for. I paid almost that much for it back in 2003.

I ordered mine when i saw your post (monday) and got it yesterday (thursday) and used it last night on a great jalepeno/cheddar bread...thanks so much for alerting us to the price savings...flat 89 beats 96 (plus) + shipping...great tip..and i LOVE it..i have an instant read (ha) that worked okay but it had a blunt, short end on it (more for meat i think)..this is great! Thank you Duane! Becky
