Crumpets dont rise
I tried making Crumpets for the first time. According to the recipe, if I fill the cooking rings upto 2/3rd then the batter would rise up to the top while cooking. But nothing like that happened, it remained the same size. Am I doing something wrong?
Though Crumpets otherwise tasted pretty good :-)

Things like recipe, process, temperatures, times, etc. Without that kind of information, about the best one could do for an answer to your question is "Based on the outcome, yes." But I have the feeling you may be looking for something more than that. Help us help you.
