Canvas loaf forms

I'm looking for a picture of the canvas loaf forms so I can show my husband. Can someone provide a link to a picture? I saw one that someone made with just canvas from Walmart.

 Thanks!

Trish in Omaha (where it's -3 degrees this morning!)

Do you mean like this?

Mine are canvas (like artist stretching canvas, just something we had in the house. It works great. I never bothered to seam the edges, which is very lazy of me. Maybe I'll make a few more...

Glad to help.

Oh, and it's a balmy zero degrees (F) here today--we're under a windchill advisory for the next four days--so a LOT of internet surfing and baking is forecast for my weekend :)

Hi Trish, you might have trouble with your canvas when it comes to sourdough, the proofing time and stickiness of sourdough is the problem. Do you use rice flour or ordinary flour. How long have you been using them? Linen is what most of us use with sourdough. It isn't much more expensive that canvas. I got mine from a bakers suppler because I just didn't have time to get the artist suppliers.

0˚F ? Woah that's cold. I've had the windows wide open today in my 'T' shirt. It's 20˚C in the kitchen today. I thought I might get a tan while I was feeding the birds. lol. Brrrh

Linen it is then. I just made my first two loaves of sour dough bread and they are in the garage (for an overnite rise-the garage is about the same temp as our refrigerator). The reason I think I may be in trouble is that my loaves are not "sticky" at all in fact just the opposite. I wonder what I did wrong. I'm still going to bake the loaves after church tomorrw (after bringing them to room temp of course). Maybe it willl be a good "learning" experience.  Can you share your starter recipe and bread recipe with me? And thanks for "sharing" how nice it is in London today...LOLOL.
