Healthy wheat blueberry bread recipe?
Hello all,
My neighbor just gave us a few quarts of fresh blueberry's! I want to make a healthy wheat based bread loaf. I have seen alot of recipes but all seem to revolve around white flour and tons of butter.
Any one have a healthy version?
Thanks!

Are you asking about a quick bread? I've had good success using whole wheat pastry flour in this recipe

Actually I was thinking of breakfast type loaf. What you posted looks good though! I'll have to try them!
I use a cinnamon raisin recipe and change it to blueberries and add more if I can. That way, you have your fav bread dough, and can control the amount of butter that goes in the center when you roll. But let me tell you, add as many berries as you can. When I add these to the dough it looks like a lot, but after it rises, there are never enough!
Noel's bread looks so very good at www.noelsbread.wordpress.com/2010/02/24/blueberry-hazelnut-bread/
That's a great idea! I'll have to try that recipe. It looks great!
