My First Sourdough Loaf and You All...

My first Sourdough Loaf is done and a very big thank you to SourdoLady et.al. for your patience, perseverance, and compassion in helping me through on this.  Specifically, SourdoLady: if you had not simplified the process and told me to get on with it all I am most certain that I would not have.  But your incredible expertise at being able to simplify and articulate it all made this happen. Please do read in the Book Forum for my suggestion for you folks writing a book. It is very difficult not being effusive when one feels so totally effusive. May you all some day know the bountiful gift of joy you have given to me...

Congrats on your first sourdough loaf! You've come a long way and you should be proud! So how did it taste, did you enjoy it?

My apologies for not having a pix to go with the Thank You, but the digital camera I have does not have the close up needed to show what all you folks are able to show.  Maybe some day I will be able to get a more high powered camera.  In the mean time I just want to clarify to you folks what you have accomplished.  I literally never baked or saw baked a loaf of bread before starting out on this web site several weeks ago.  For a beginner to read the Beranbaum or Reinhart books and start at ground zero is not practical.  You folks on the other hand are able to Articulate Simply.  That is a very difficult thing to do and requires considerably more intelligence.  So standing as I am on your magnificent shoulders, I bow gratefully and say a heart felt thank you to you all....
