Hello everyone

I don't know why it took me so long to find this site.


I've been baking bread for about 40 years. Usually the same kinds of bread. I've started some sourdough but it isn't as lively as I'd like. I'll wait and see what happens.


The latest bread that I made was Norwegian Flat Bread.

There are some great threads here on sourdough - the TFL search bar will lead you to many of them.


There are also many great formulas; hope you decide to add a few to your repertorie.

I'm about to feed it using the 1:1:1 ratio. I might try to put it in an insulated container with some warm water. I just can't get to to double in volume. Lots of bubbles though.

Congratulations on such a good bread baking run! Norwegian flat bread sounds interesting. Hope you can also find some breads that interest you on this site. Lots to choose from.

I was surprised too when I wrote how long I'd been baking bread. How'd so much time go by? LOL
